COSA is a new way of living that balances the human activity and the ecological conditions of its surrounding environment. With this proposal, we provide a model for the future of collective living ecosystems.

As in the traditional Eivissa farmhouses, we combine volumes of different sizes depending on the space their inhabitants require while achiveing a more dynamic and functional architecture.
Each dwelling is not limited to its interior space but extended throughout the communal spaces of the building so that sharing, meeting and gathering are situations that can happen at any point, thus creating a community.

We take advantage of the intersections of the volumes to place the wet areas as they must be closed and private; they function as a structural core to reduce the number of columns.

Our idea is that the building is made up of many layers that can adapt to changes in situations or uses over time without affecting the rest. The skin, partitions and interior distribution of the dwellings can be modified according to the needs of the building or of its users and the damaged elements can be easily repaired or replaced.
